My love and passion for animals started at a very young age. Much of my childhood was spent on a farm in South Africa and I was notorious for nurturing any sick or weak animals back to health at every opportunity.  I've spent many years working and volunteering in pet rescue and wildlife rehabilitation centers in South Africa until I immigrated to the UK where I worked as a carer and later as an operational trainer at Heathrow Airport; but  coming home to my menagerie of pets has always been my happy place. I have three dogs (two rescued), an African Grey Parrot, chickens, Koi Pond and an African Cichlid tank. I have taken a leap of faith to follow my dreams and an opportunity to be fulfilled again, so quit the corporate rat race to open my very own pet sitting business.

In my spare time, from my little home studio, I'm building a portfolio of nature inspired sterling silver jewellery and pottery, which started as a hobby and quickly became therapy after the untimely loss of my husband who shared my love and passion for all creatures, great and small (..with the exception of spiders).
